Hey guys! How's Tuesday treatin' ya? It's been crazy at work today for me! Maybe that's why I had the "Bibbity Bobbity Boo" song from Cinderella stuck in my head while I was running today (?)
I had a pre-lunch snack today...an apple and about 1 Tbsp of almond butter from my not-so-secret-jar:
The obviously much needed aerial view:
Lunch itself was the rest of the chili from yesterday. I'm so frustrated I can't find that recipe anywhere! I'm not giving up though, it was too delish for that :)
It still made me sweat a little, but was super tasty. I had a toasted sandwich thin on the side:
And a fun-size pack of M & Ms I found in the kitchen at work. I really DON'T like milk chocolate at all, but these were just right to feed my sweet tooth!
I just got back from running/walking. My knee started to act up again after 25 minutes of running, so I walked the rest of the time. I was a little bummed because I can feel myself being OK cardiovascularly for running, but I'm having a mental battle to not push myself too hard too fast. Anyway, it was an hour total of cardio activity which I was psyched about :)
I'm now back and eating this Larabar and clementine. This clem is way better than the dry one yesterday. Cashew Cookie isn't my favorite Larabar flavah, but it's definitely going to keep me from eating too much at dinner!
Tonight we're having our community group meet at our house to eat and hang out. Nate and I are in charge of dinner, and I think we're going to do a medley of stuff on the grill (turkey burgers, chicken breasts, maybe a veggie burger or two) and mashed potatoes and edamame! Hopefully we'll have time to stop by the store and pick up a couple of veggies too :)
Then we're packing to head out to Winter Park to work at a ski race. Should be fun, and I'm stoked about my first ski race (to watch, not race!) We are staying at a really awesome hotel too, so I'll be posting pictures of that as well once we get there!
Silly question: What's your favorite Larabar flavor?
