I had a pre-lunch snack today...an apple and about 1 Tbsp of almond butter from my not-so-secret-jar:

Lunch itself was the rest of the chili from yesterday. I'm so frustrated I can't find that recipe anywhere! I'm not giving up though, it was too delish for that :)
It still made me sweat a little, but was super tasty. I had a toasted sandwich thin on the side:

I'm now back and eating this Larabar and clementine. This clem is way better than the dry one yesterday. Cashew Cookie isn't my favorite Larabar flavah, but it's definitely going to keep me from eating too much at dinner!

Tonight we're having our community group meet at our house to eat and hang out. Nate and I are in charge of dinner, and I think we're going to do a medley of stuff on the grill (turkey burgers, chicken breasts, maybe a veggie burger or two) and mashed potatoes and edamame! Hopefully we'll have time to stop by the store and pick up a couple of veggies too :)
Then we're packing to head out to Winter Park to work at a ski race. Should be fun, and I'm stoked about my first ski race (to watch, not race!) We are staying at a really awesome hotel too, so I'll be posting pictures of that as well once we get there!
Silly question: What's your favorite Larabar flavor?
Key lime!
ReplyDeleteI hate to say this but I have never had a Larabar. I must try one. Great blog!
ReplyDeleteThe coconut one is BY FAR my favorite-SOOOO good!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of larabars...but have you tried the Perfect Foods bar? It's AMAZING. Like peanut butter fudge. mmm....
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the cinnamon roll or the pecan pies. Other than those, I don't really like them much.
ReplyDeleteI have a terrible feeling that Bibbity Bobbity Boo is going to be stuck in my head now.
